What do we have to offer you?

Your workplace will be within the Health and Social Care Administration. Osby Municipality is now in a phase where we are developing our quality work. We will also be recruiting a SAS. As MAS, you will work together with MAR and SAS in a quality team organized directly under the head of administration. You will be part of the management group together with area managers and business controllers. As a quality team, you will have great opportunities to shape the quality work going forward together with the management group. The Health and Social Care Administration has about 400 employees and is divided into two operational areas: Support and Care and Housing and Health, where the responsibility for Health and Medical Care lies.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As MAS, you have an overarching responsibility for quality and patient safety within the municipality's health and medical care according to the Health and Medical Care Act. This means that MAS, together with the operations manager for health and medical care, is responsible for ensuring that patients receive safe and appropriate health and medical care of good quality. MAS should also act as an advisory and support function for the operations in health and medical care issues and collaborate with other administrations and other care providers.

General tasks for the Medical Responsible Nurse / Operations Developer:

  • actively participate in the planning of municipal health and medical care work
  • inform and teach about issues related to health and medical care work
  • participate in personnel planning and recruitment of health and medical care staff
  • ensure that regulatory provisions and other rules are known and followed
  • work with quality-related issues
  • be a support to the operations and the committee through analysis and evaluation work
  • project lead development work within municipal health and medical care in collaboration with managers
  • develop the administration's quality system
  • initiate and conduct incident analyses and investigations of care injuries in collaboration with managers
  • participate in external and internal collaboration

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a licensed nurse with many years of experience in health and medical care work. For the tasks, very good knowledge of laws, regulations, and other rules for health and medical care is required, as well as knowledge of the municipal operations within care and support.

As a person, you are fundamentally stable and secure even when pressured and stressful situations arise. You also have a high level of personal maturity and integrity with well-founded and clear values. You find it easy to work towards goals and focus on results. You are proactive, self-driven, and push your processes forward with great endurance.

As MAS, you are a leader without an actual managerial role, which places special demands on leadership. Therefore, you have very good collaboration skills and a loyal and positive attitude towards your work, the operations, and the organization. You have good knowledge of how people absorb knowledge and are skilled in collaboration and communication.

You have a good ability to think strategically and have a broad perspective characterized by a holistic view and good judgment where you prioritize the operations and the patient's best in actions and decisions.

You are comfortable leading larger and smaller groups and express yourself clearly, distinctly, and well-formulated in various contexts. You also have a good ability to express yourself clearly and structured in writing. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, good computer skills, and preferably experience with various operational systems.

You work in a structured manner and find it important to set and adhere to deadlines. You also have good problem-solving analysis skills and approach.

Your working method is characterized by a strong quality awareness, and you place great importance on meeting goals and quality measures, but you also have the ability to act pragmatically when needed.

You need to have a B driver's license for the position.

We would like you to have previously worked as MAS/MAR or as a manager within the municipal health and medical care responsibility. Adequate specialist training is meritorious. We view positively that you have previously worked with investigations, analysis work, and providing opinions to the committee.

OTHER

There is an opportunity to combine the work with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment is made based on the needs of the operations.
